Explore the secrets of Singapore by bicycle – DIY
Difficulty Level: Strenuous, because it is long with portions of industrial roads.
Route Start/End: Anywhere along the loop, but the instructions begin at the Springleaf Nature Park along Upper Thomson Rd, just north of the SLE. There is parking, toilets and an easy connection to the PCN and start of the ride.
Route Length: 40km +/-
Terrain: Mostly flat, on PCNs and sidewalks, park pathways and some quiet lanes.
Route Comments: A great mix of Singapore’s natural and heritage riches, this ride is one of our best with stunning views, natural bounty AND fascinating heartland history. You’ll also find plenty of places to stop for local eats or a little rest.
Caution: This route is a combination of PCNs, industrial roads, quiet side streets and busy sidewalks. Caution is required at crossings and awareness of others, both human and natural is appreciated.

Our routes have been carefully planned for maximum safety. We cycle mainly on PCNs (Park Connectors), alleyways, quiet streets and sidewalks. However in a big city like Singapore, it will be unavoidable for us to cross busy roads during the course of the rides.
Safety is our #1 priority. Bike-a-Local.com is a provider of self-guided route information. The user of this information is expected to follow all safety cycling protocols and Singapore’s Cycling Code of Conduct https://bike-a-local.com/safety/.
